Commissioned in November, 2007 Rig 1 was built by Mastco. Jared Torgerson and crews have been drilling the Viking play in the Kindersley area.

Commissioned in January, 2008, Rig 2 was also built by Mastco as a sister to Rig 1.  Devon Senft and his crews have also been drilling up the Viking play in the Kindersley area.

Rig 3 was our first skidded substructure rig.  A Hodgson design, it was built at Hyduke in Niksu. Shane Campbell and his crews have been drilling in the Provost area for past couple years.

Originally built for Penn West, Rig 4 came on-line in Sept of 2010.  It’s also a Hyduke built, Hodgson designed center section.  Darren Johnson has been the rig manager since day one.

A carbon copy of Rig 3 and Rig 4, this rig was commissioned in June, 2011 and built for Penn West. Dale Kress and his crews have been using it to drill wells in southwest Manitoba, all the way to the Red Water area for the last few years.

Also built for a Penn West project, Rig 6 is a beefier version of its predecessors.  It’s the first of three  heavy Range 3 rigs.  Greg Schuh took the rig out December of 2011 and is currently working in the Brooks area.

The second of our heavy Range 3 rigs, the rig was commissioned in Nov 2011. It’s currently managed by John Gough and calls the Gull Lake area home.

The last of our heavy Range 3 rigs, Rig 8 was commissioned in September of 2014, by Direct Energy. Rich Winterholt has been the manager on the rig since day one.

Built for Long Run Exploration, Rig 9 is the first rig in our line of heavy tele-doubles.  This automated rig was built in January, 2015 and is still being managed by Matt Zidkovich.

The latest addition to our fleet, Rig 10 is a heavy double that was purchased in September, 2017.  After a few modifications, it spudded its first well for Inplay on Sept 28, 2017.  Rig Manager Jeff Kinniburgh and crews have done a great job implementing and growing the Bonanza culture on that rig.
